On November 1, 2005 Milton Police arrested Peter E. Simpson, 25 of Bear, De. for Home Improvement Fraud with the victim older than 62 yrs of age (F).
The Milton Police Department was contacted by a victim in regards to a lightning rod system that was replaced on the victim?s garage by Simpson in August of 2005. Simpson charged the victim $6,500.00 for the installation and received payment. Simpson then returned the following week and obtained another $4,000.00 from the victim. Milton Police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Simpson.
Simpson was arrested on unrelated charges in upstate Delaware and then transferred down to Sussex County by the Department of Corrections for Milton Police to arrest on the Home Improvement Fraud charge.
Simpson was placed back into the custody of the Department of Corrections in default of a $2,000.00 secured bond pending a Preliminary Hearing in CCP. Anyone having questionable business with Peter Simpson is encouraged to contact his or her local Police Agency.
